We have two B&B rooms, both ensuite; a double upstairs with lovely views and a large twin room downstairs. The twin beds in the downstairs room can be converted to a super-king size bed on request at time of booking.
Disabled access – there are 2 steps up to the front door, but the downstairs bedroom and sunroom are all on one level and doorways are wide enough for wheelchairs. Parts of the garden are on the level although there are some steps.
Breakfast is served at a time to suit you, usually between 8.00 and 9.00 but outside these times can be arranged. It is served in our spacious sun room which has stunning views.
Free Wi-Fi is available and both rooms have their own TV. We have local information and maps plus lots of books and games, all of which can be borrowed during your stay. The gardens and grounds are available should you wish to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity and take in the views.
We aim to serve high quality local Scottish food on our breakfast menu. Most ingredients are produced in Scotland and/or locally in the Galloway area. Please feel free to ask about any food items and we will be happy to explain their origins.
We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements such as gluten or lactose free on request. Healthier options are available where possible e.g. low fat spread, low fat yogurt; please let us know when booking if you have any particular requests.
The following items are sourced from Scottish/local suppliers:
Croissants & speciality breads (including sourdough, seeded and traditional white as available) – from Logan Bakehouse; fantastic mobile artisan bakery, specialising in handmade organic bread using a wood fired oven!
Breakfast Sausages – from Clash Farm Pedigree Saddlebacks – rare breed, free range, outdoor raised pigs – and very tasty!
